Attire & What to Bring
Mayflower sweats and a T-shirt are always available in the changing room. All of your work out clothing will be laundered and returned daily to your room.
We recommend that our guests bring:
- Sneakers and or/ specialty footwear like hiking boots or water shoes
- Workout wear
- Swim suit and cap
- Lounge wear for evening
- Seasonally appropriate outerwear
- Seasonally appropriate undergarments
- Specialized work out wear: for example; yoga wear, biking shorts
- Seasonal head gear: sun hat or cold weather cap.
We suggest that all exercise clothing should be loose fitting, to permit freedom of movement—and that you always have the proper socks for the activity…
- When the weather is colder, it is best to layer, extra layers help trap heat. Layers can also be removed if you become warm. (A general rule is to start out your outdoor activity a little chilly so that as you are working out you will be at the right temperature during your workout.) You may also want to pack micro-fiber clothing or a quick drying fabric because they pull moisture away from the body)
- The most important part of clothing is your choice of shoes. Make sure your X-trainers and hiking shoes fit properly. They should have a solid bottom and good support and with plenty of cushioning. TIP: (Don’t wear flimsy sneakers or racing flats—also shoes that fit a little snug will make you feet very cold in the colder weather….
- Hats should be worn in the colder weather ( or a fleece head band) in sunny warm weather baseball caps or tennis hats should be worn to protect you from the sun.
Depending on the season, we suggest you bring relevant clothing for indoor and out door activities. If you have ANY questions on what to pack, your personal spa advisor would happy to help—and if you forget anything, you are sure to find it in our well-stocked Spa Shop.
We do provide any and all equipment you will need for indoor and outdoor activities.
