As you learn more about these lives of accomplishment you
will see why the Mayflower has enjoyed such great success.
Adriana
Mnuchin. As a successful entrepreneur in fashion
retail, Adriana brings to the Mayflower Inn and Spa the powerful
combination of a clear vision of the establishment’s
nature and purpose, a discerning eye, extensive knowledge
of materials and suppliers and a level of business acumen
that only years of experience can provide. Apart from the
Mayflower, her current endeavors include a weekly radio talk
show on WRTN, organizing Adult Education seminars and seats
on a variety of Councils and Boards, such as her role as Chairman
of the Board of The Shakespeare Society, New York, New York.
Robert Mnuchin. Bob became a senior director
of Goldman Sachs after the firm’s initial public offering
in 1999. Previously, he was a member of the Management Committee
from 1980 until 1990, when he became a limited partner. He
joined the firm in 1957 and was made a partner in 1967. He
is a former Director of the American Stock Exchange and a
former Chairman of the Upstairs Trading Committee of the New
York Stock Exchange. He supplements his time at the Mayflower
with his position as owner and Chairman of L&M Arts Gallery
in New York City.
Lisa
Hedley. In addition to her career as an attorney
and an Emmy nominated documentary film maker, Lisa resurrected
and runs the Bantam
Cinema known for its exceptional cinema selections and
special events. Despite her modern multi-tasking lifestyle,
Lisa has always enjoyed a commitment to physical exercise,
wellness and spiritual well-being. It’s this lifelong
passion that led her to work with some of the world’s
most distinguished yoga and Sanskrit teachers and later to
work with a range of wellness specialists. Now, in her position
as president and creative director of the Mayflower Spa, Lisa
has drawn on her rich knowledge of nurturing treatments and
activities to collaborate in creating the innovative, sumptuous
and unforgettable Mayflower Spa facility.
John Trevenen. A native of Sydney, Australia,
John has been our General Manager ever since we lured him
away from the Four Seasons in Los Angeles well over a decade
ago. When he’s not leading his staff to ensure that
our guests enjoy seamless, superb and tranquil service, John
is an avid and accomplished athlete who has participated in
Iron Man triathlons. Not surprisingly, he also laid out our
popular interval course.
Helen
Elizabeth Brown. English by birth, an avid horse woman
and previously the Spa Director at The Peaks Resort and Golden
Door Spa in Telluride, Colorado, Helen also speaks fluent French,
Italian and Japanese and has studied business in both Italy
and Japan. But it is her extraordinary awareness of the subtleties
of treatments, rituals and how to tailor exercise regimes and
relaxation techniques specifically to individuals that made
her the ideal choice to be our new Spa Director. |
